Here I've used one color for the clouds, Moonglow by Daniel Smith, and lots of water. The low horizon features green pasture and distant small bushes or trees, all hoping for more rain to fall. Working Cowgirl

14x11 mixed media on Strathmore toned tan paper using acrylic ink, markers, acrylics, watercolor with ink being applied with natural plant stick from Spanish broom tree. Threatening Rain
