Canyon Sunset
5x12 watercolor on 140 lb cold press Grumbacher paper using White Nights paints done last week. No pencil sketch, just brush only in this horizontal southwestern landscape. One can imagine the desert sun's hot rays hitting the canyon rims as it goes down for the day.

I’m behind this week. Good family stuff. This is very beautiful, just the right shadows. The little birds are fun. You know I loved the tulips a couple of posts back. Applause.
