Alert Roadrunner

6x8 watercolor on Masters Touch 140 lb cold press paper over pencil sketch from my roadrunner photo in which I enlarged its head. Gansai Tambi watercolors were used for the bird's body. Background is burnt sienna, quin burnt orange and raw sienna with some color included in the feathers. COPYRIGHT 2023 Kay Smith

Awww, gotta love the roadrunners. We have a pair by our house but haven't seen them much in this hot drought.
