Asparagus

Red Rock Cliffs
2x5.25 watercolor miniature on 140 lb cold press paper, another imaginary arid desert themed landscape. I brushed across with clay color on the horizontal format the day we left for the mountains on Dec. 26 then finished upon return last Monday on New Year's Day. Details were added such as random greenery, etc.

Wary Indian Brave
9x5.5 mixed media on Canson 140 lb cold press paper done last weekend in December. Ref courtesy WetCanvas. This was part of a weekend drawing event in which participants have 2 hours to select their choice of subjects then paint or draw using any media. For this, I cropped the Indian's body to focus on his head and shoulders. I used colored pencils, Micron 01 ink pen, oil pastels, Crayola markers, and White Nights watercolors.
