Antique Glass

10x8 acrylics on canvas done last Monday from one of my antique store photos taken in 2011 but never painted. A collection of colored glass was too tempting to pass up or pass by and was waiting to be rendered. I admired the red tall candy compote and the supporting green and blue green glass ones, too. The amber shaded pouring decanter lower left was fun as I have one identical. This painting was part of an online acrylics challenge this month on WetCanvas. It will be interesting to see what the other artists do with the photograph reference. COPYRIGHT Kay Smith 2025
