Troublesome Thunderhead
6x6 watercolor in sketchbook of 80 lb paper, Masters Touch, done last week as a quick demo for art students. With these cloud series paintins, each one is different and challenging yet fun. No references are used.

More Chances of Rain
6x6 watercolor on 80 lb sketchbook paper in Masters Touch book, another imaginary cloudscape done last Monday as a class demo. Here I've used one color for the clouds, Moonglow by Daniel Smith, and lots of water. The low horizon features green pasture and distant small bushes or trees, all hoping for more rain to fall.

Spring Cloudscape
6x6 watercolor using Morandi paints that are very opaque and pastel colored; this was painted day before yesterday and is an imaginary scene. The wide landscape below could be anywhere in the southwest area of the country. Distant trees can be seen on the horizon.
