Sail Away ~ Happy 4th of July!
6x6 watercolor done today, a quick study of sailboats with their patriotic red, white, and blue colors. This was painted in Masters Touch 80 lb sketchbook and I used an old credit card to make the vertical rigging lines on the boats.

Flag Day!
15x11 watercolor on 140 lb cold press paper depicting our USA flag flying in a gentle mountain breeze.
I took the reference photo at Alto Lakes, New Mexico at the Century 21
office. With a large pot of red geraniums this was painted 10 years ago. No matter what name is used to describe it, Old Glory, Stars & Stripes, the Red, White & Blue, the American flag still proudly waves over this land.
