Watercan Tulips

7x9 watercolor and ink on sketchbook 80 lb paper done a couple weeks ago using my watering can collection and silk tulips for inspiration. Sketched with Micron 01 black ink, pigments used were White Nights paints. A fun exercise thinking of spring when it is still winter. COPYRIGHT Kay Smith 2026

Yellow Watercan and Blooms

7.25x5.75 watercolor on Italia 140 lb CP paper done today, an imaginary garden scene complete with old rusty watering can or watercan filled with flowers such as poppies, etc.
