10.25x9 watercolor and ink (Pigma Micron 01 pen). I sketched
this wacky Santa one morning around 5:30 then added paint later.
He looks like he is up to something or can't find his reindeer for the trip.

Artistic Santa
10.25x9 watercolor and ink on paper. The sketch was done last December for a larger watercolor titled Santa's Workshop but didn't paint this initial work till now. One of my brushes was used as a model for this imaginary figurative scene.

Old Santa
4x6 watercolor painted today from a photo taken at a local florist shop Inspirations. This lifesize Santa stands at their front door. I love his crooked glasses, as if he had one too many hot toddies on his route around the world. Support is Langton Prestige 140 lb cold press paper with Daniel Smith paints.
