Alpaca Party Animal
8x8 watercolor using White Nights paints on 140 lb cold press paper done last week from my file of cute animals to paint. This young alpaca is ready to have a party. Love to paint white animals since so many colors can be added.

Baby Alpaca with Carrot
8x8 watercolor on Grumbacher 140 lb cold press paper done today for another online challenge; photo courtesy WetCanvas reference image library/CRYROLPHE. I spent about an hour on the pencil sketch and the paint application for the Weekend Drawing Event and just could not resist this baby alpaca chewing on a carrot.

Al the Alpaca
11x7.5 mixed media on Bienfang wc paper 140 lb cold press done yesterday as part of another online WetCanvas challenge where participants have 2 hours to create a painting. I liked the alpaca's humorous face so sketched with multilead colored Magic pencils, added outline strokes with Crayola markers, then filled in with White Nights watercolors. Blue markers added at the end for contrast. (Ref courtesy Crias)
