Peony Shadows

9x12 watercolor on Fluid 140 lb cold press paper begun several days ago and finished today, from my peony photos.  This bloom is white and I've tinted it in soft lilac, pink, gold, and blue partially in an underpainting.  Shadows were added last using 2-3 glazes and background is a mix of indigo, thalo blue and green, and quinacridone gold.
