Thistle Explosion

9x6 watercolor on 140 lb Grumbacher paper done today using only a #14 round brush (no pencil drawing) in this imaginary wild thistle painting. I could imagine the strong wind blowing its many bloom parts out from the weed into the air. COPYRIGHT 2023 Kay Smith
