Farmland Clouds

9x5.5 watercolor using White Nights paints on Canson 117 lb cold press done last part of September while on a trip to the mountains. In this imaginary landscape the focus is really on the clouds overhead. COPYRIGHT Kay Smith 2026

Prairie Wind Cowboy

6x6 watercolor in sketchbook done last week; it is on 80 lb paper in Master's Touch. I've used four different brown pigments including new Schmincke color of Desert Brown that granulates in this imaginary scene. This guy is watching the turbulent prairie sky and clouds. COPYRIGHT Kay Smith 2026
