July Ruby-throated Hummer
3.5x5.5 watercolor and Brusho on 140 lb cold press Canson paper done a few days ago this week from my Ruidoso, NM, hummingbird photos. I really have a hard time there keeping the feeders above ground and/or intact.

April Parakeet
8.5x5.5 watercolor and Brusho crystals on paper in Masters Sketchbook just done as part of a weekend WetCanvas challenge. I enjoyed mixing several Brusho green colors together for the parakeet's bright feathers.

Blue Pigeon
8x8 watercolor and Brusho wc crystals on Masters premium 140 lb cold press paper done over the weekend for another online WetCanvas challenge. Ref courtesy Susan (tyree). I like the metallic shine on the pigeon's feathers and Brusho has the exact hue.
