9x12 watercolor on Canson 140 lb cold press paper done over the weekend as part of another WetCanvas challenge.  For the dark brown I've mixed a limited palette of ultramarine blue and quinacridone burnt orange; this was painted wet on dry.

Beautiful Bay Horse

6x8 watercolor on Stillman & Birn Zeta series painted earlier in the month  for another online challenge; ref courtesy WetCanvas.  There was another steel bar in the fence or gate in front of the horse but I omitted it to show more of the animal.

#InkTober day 27 ~ Dapple Grey horse

6x9 ink and watercolor sketch on Canson 140 lb cold press paper done today for day number 27 of annual #InkTober challenge. Only 4 more days to go! This dapple grey horse belongs to my brother and this photo was taken on the farm a few years ago. I used a Micron 01 pen for the ink sketch then Daniel Smith paints.
