Crow Master rooster
11x8.5 watercolor on Kilimanjaro 140 lb cold press paper, drawn and painted over the weekend for an online exercise with WetCanvas! Using my iPad, I flipped the white rooster image then used a summer filter to make him more colorful with vivid yellow gold and gamboge feathers. Blue Bice by American Journey are the opaque turquoise blue areas for cool touches in a warm temperature painting. No masking was used for his tiny feathers above his eye. The larger the wattle and comb, the more females he can attract.
