6.25x9 watercolor on Lanaquarelle 140 lb hot press paper an imaginary country landscape anyone would want to visit or live. Midsummer colors will quickly fade as the days get shorter and wild meadow flowers a pleasant memory. Splatters were made on wet paper then dry using a large round #12 brush.

Summer Rain
8x8 gouache on Italia 140 lb. cold press paper done a few days ago using brush only, no pre-drawing with pencil. In this imaginary scene dark skies with rain begin pelting the meadow flowers below. There is a red poppy, a tulip, and a daisy surrounded by wildflowers.
