7x5 watercolor on 140 lb cold press paper done first week of May from our own redhat wildflowers that grow abundantly in semi-arid parts of the southwest. This work was gifted to a friend.

Texas Thistle
9x9 alcohol inks on paper done Saturday as one of the several class demos. The abstract multicolored spiky shape reminded me of wild thistles, hence the title. At any rate it must be a wildflower of some sort.
