American Goldfinch Garden
8x8 watercolor on Grumbacher 140 lb cold press paper done last week, another neurographic art, my 5th effort. I've used White Nights paints and a mixed black for the dark lines instead of the marker ink normally used. With this piece, a realistic shape of the goldfinch was added to create interest and variety.

Watchful Eye Bird
6x9 acrylics on Canson 140 lb cold press paper painted yesterday as part of exploration of acrylics used as watercolor. Painted wet on dry, this bird was sketched previously but not painted. I used a #14 round. When dry, splatters were put on over the background. I'll use the sketch again to do another version.
