Moth Orchids - phalaenopsis

15x11 watercolor on Arches 140 lb hot press paper of white moth orchids against a splashy abstract background.  I tried to incorporate stems and petals into the direct washes or just a suggestion of those forms.

Kay...this is gorgeous! I rarely paint florals but this one makes me want to start!

Thanks mb! I hope you start painting them soon. I used to hate trying to paint a flower as thought they were too difficult.
