Pippa ~ dog pet portrait

5.5x8 Magic pencils (CPs) and watercolor on Strathmore Visual Journal for mixed media, done today.  Pippa is the half Jack Russell half fox terrier pet dog of fellow artist Vivien in New Zealand.  I hope Viv likes how I did her pet portrait! Magic pencils are multileaded colored pencils that are fun to use and are not watersoluble.

Hi Kay! Pippa is so sweet - I have a real soft spot for animals. Are the Magic pencils like the Koh-i-Nor Tri-tones? I didn't care for the Tri-tones that much but liked the concept so would like to know more about the Magic ones. Will have to go search for them!

Thanks Jan! Pencils are made by Koh-I-Noor hardtmuth and are also called rainbow pencils.
