Sisterly Love
5.5x8 watercolor/ink with Micron 01 pen on Strathmore Visual Journal. First sketched in ink, these two cat sisters were too adorable to pass up as a subject. They belong to another artist. You can never have too many cuddly hugs.

Cats and Old Fence
6x8.5 watercolor done last week while on travel in my hotel room. Probably strays, these two were watchful and yet indifferent, just being cats. Photo reference featured on WetCanvas.com last month for 5-7 July Weekend Drawing Event.

Feline Groovy
12x9 watercolor on Strathmore 140 lb cold press paper, Daniel Smith paints. After doing a loose splashy underpainting I let the soft pastel hues dry, then drew over that an outline of my grey tabby Chuy. The abstract underpainting can be seen within the cat's body while in front he nestles against colorful patterned pillows.
