Scattered Tree Trunks

6x9 mixed media on 70 lb paper done weekend before last while in the mountains. This is the 3rd or 4th version of the same landscape winter scene done before. I used Derwent watercolor colored pencils, different brands colored pencils to create this cold scene. COPYRIGHT 2023 Kay Smith

White Tree Trunks in Snow

6x8 graphite watercolor blue shade with white oil pastel on Hahnemuhle grey toned 95 lb. paper done last weekend while it snowed. Using a scene previously done, this was quickly sketched and painted for a different take on the same mountain slope. COPYRIGHT 2023 Kay Smith
