Bikini

3.75x5.25 alcohol ink monochromatic abstract done over the past weekend using only one color:  Eggplant.  I like how it separated into different hues once alcohol 91% and blending solution was applied.  I could see a bikini on a woman, her chest, torso, neck, and bottom of her chin.  Also the blue hue and dots could be splashy water as it is the first day of summer today June 21.

Mules: All about Ears

15x22 watercolor on 140 lb cold press Arches rough paper of mother mule, a hinney, and young one.  The background is imaginary and I used two different photos of mine to come up with the composition.  The mother is plodding along in the hot southwestern sun while her offspring, called a jenny, looks at the viewer.  My paper choice lent itself to the stucco buildings and sandy dry dirt.
