Spiritual Sparrow

9x7 mixed media collage on paper from mm/sketchbook done today. Sketched with a sepia 0.3 Winsor Newton ink pen, I used White Nights watercolors next. Lastly, I cut out the sparrow's breast shape a part of a well known hymn, "Just As I Am", then used matte medium to adhere it. A few feather marks were put in over that. Funky Flowers

6x13 mixed media collage on paper done previously. Over an alcohol ink underpainting I collaged white and patterned tissue paper and part of a cocktail napkin. When dry, I stamped blue acrylic using a round bottle lid, then color in floral shapes was added using a 1" flat sponge brush in acrylics. Part of the inks show through.
