Tulip Twists
7x9 watercolor on Fabriano 140 lb hot press paper done today; combination of refs taken mid-February in Ruidoso NM of red and white tulips. At first I didn't see the lone red stripe on the variegated bloom so that was a nice twist. Painted during our weekly paint in at my studio over pencil sketch using #1 rigger and a #6 round Princeton brush.
