9x12 black Tombow pen ink sketch done today. This is on Bristol board 100 lb, regular surface, using no pencil. I start with black areas first and when all are sketched, I use a #1 script liner brush with water to make grey areas; white of the paper is left as is. This work was done in 2 hours and featured during WetCanvas Weekend Drawing Event currently in progress (photo courtesy Alain). Later I will do a watercolor version of these two workhorses.

Hold Your Horses

Thanks! I'm doing the watercolor version now, only it will be in a vertical format on a half sheet (22x15).
