Realizing the herd needed more cows I added two more today one at the front of the line and one bringing up the rear. I softened more edges and glazed the sky area with raw sienna + Coastal Fog.

Good job on this, Kay! Adding more bison to the herd really beefed up the painting (pun not intentional). You created the feeling of a great big herd by having a couple of the bison moving into or off the canvas.
I agree with Nita...funny how the addition of just those few to the herd made it feel so much bigger.
