Verbena floral
22x15 watercolor of a dark red verbena with a little exaggeration on my part in this macro view. I added a few roses and distant verbena blossoms within the picture plane for variety. I used Italia Acquerello 140 lb cold press paper and Daniel Smith paints with Coastal Fog by American Journey.
