Lupines Bluebonnets

8.5x5.5 watercolor and ink (Micron 01 pen) on Masters sketchbook paper done over the weekend.  As Texas state flower, the bluebonnet or lupine stands proud and tall in the state it calls home.  In various hues of blue-purple and red-purple, the multifaceted plant can be seen as a sea of blue across the mid-state hill country in the spring.
