White Carnation

White Carnation 6x4 watercolor on 140 lb Canson cold press paper done yesterday morning as a warm up exercise. The cool whites of the common carnation, my birth month flower, is warmed up somewhat by adding an orange yellow background in this simple vignette. COPYRIGHT 2022 Kay Smith
