Desert Yuccas
8x8 gouache over charcoal sketch of desert yucca plants done last Monday, first of May. Not sure where I got this decorated paper but it proved to be a nice support for the colorful dry vegetation. Using an older yucca sketch of ink line and wash, the plants were quickly sketched and then painted. My original sketch was from a New Mexico scene.
