Porch Scene with Cat
15x22 watercolor, another imaginary porch scene with shutters, white wicker and potted daisies and geraniums not to mention the lovely kitty relaxing on the cushions. An underpainting was done first, allowed to dry, then design was drawn, with a stencil stamp of old cardboard used to make a woven wicker pattern.

A stamp? Interesting way to paint wicker... You're dream porch is lovely. From the top border you have posted, it seems you're dreamed this lovely porch before... Perhaps you should create it?
Thanks Susan! If only we could get some rain here in Texas I might. We can't even hose off our patio and potted plants...well they're out for now.
