Winter Solstice Treeline

6.25x9.25 Brusho watercolor crystals on Italia Magnani 140 lb cold press paper sketched in pencil then painted today using only one color, Grey. I like how the crystals separate out in their different colors in a very wet wash. This is an imaginary scene for the first day of winter, the winter solstice. COPYRIGHT 2020 Kay Smith
