Spring Sparrows

11.75x15.5 acrylics on gessoed matboard, a demo done a couple years ago for Midland TX Palette Club. These sparrows are enjoying a sunny morning sitting on a branch.  With largely neutral colors you can still tell the foliage has not yet turned yellow green in spring.
