12x9 India ink, white gel pen over collaged book text pages on watercolor paper, a demo done today for my Faces class. Using a model's face from a magazine ad I sketched in the eye first with ink dropper and/or wooden chopstick. Water added to the ink made a soft grey tone value. A second application was applied to her hair for darkest value.
