Brick Wall
5.25x8.25 mixed media in junk journal done last week for the prompt of 'brick' as part of our art association summer topics to paint. In this textural glimpse of a brick wall (who can say they have never been up against one of these) I've used hard charcoal to sketch, carpenter's pencil, liquid permanent pencil by Derivan, gouache, and Brusho wc crystals. You can see where the stucco outer layer is peeling off the wall.
